I discovered photography at the age of 14, during and student exchange program in Sarajevo.

After studying photography in Barcelona, I worked for uncountable newspapers and magazines, all the while maintaining my own photographic agenda.

I spent four years in and out of Bangkok, working as a freelance photographer for several international media and organizations such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, OXFAM, and the United Nations among others. My work has earned prestigious awards such as the World Press Photo 2011, The Best of Photojournalism by the US National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), and the Spanish National Human Rights Association Awards.

In the same period, I also photographed the Arab Spring including the civil war in Libya and the Kurdish struggle in Northern Syria.

After years of photographic work, I gradually started developing a passion for filmmaking.

In 2016, I studied film direction at ESCAC, a prestigious film school that operates in association with the University of Barcelona, and began producing and directing my own projects, both fiction, and non-fiction.

My documentary work has been shown on platforms and networks like HBO, Al Jazeera, and CNN, and my fictional work has been selected by several prestigious film festivals.

After living for three years in London, I moved back to Barcelona where I work as an independent documentary Director, cinematographer, and Producer.

I hold a 3rd dan black belt degree in Aikido, and I get easily distracted by dogs.
